Describe the size of the Bible? Is it too big to carry to church/Bible studies?

9 ½ x 6 ½ x 1 ¾

It’s a little large and heavy to carry with you.  In my opinion, it is more of a devotion and consecration Bible. But that doesn’t mean you won’t see me lugging my BIG ‘OLE BIBLE with me! I love it that much.

How do you use it?

Excellent for journaling and promotes daily use with thought-provoking items throughout the Bible.

Why do you like it? What are some of the best features the Bible offers, in your opinion? (You can find these

She Reads Truth Bible, soft cover

What translation is it?

Christian Standard Bible

How long have you used this Bible?

Two years

Describe the size of the Bible? Is it too big to carry to church/Bible studies?

It is too big for me to carry to every service with all of our kids and their belongings. I do try to bring it to our midweek services when I use it for our studies.

How do you use it?

I use it for my morning devotion and study time. I also like taking it to church Bible studies for note taking.

Why do you like it? What are some of the best features the Bible offers, in your opinion?

The translation is very easy to read and understand. It has wide enough margins to take notes, so that is helpful when I'm studying. It has devotions placed throughout the Bible that I've enjoyed. And it is a really pretty Bible!

Inspire Bible: The Bible for Creative Journaling

What translation is it?

New Living Translation

How long have you used this Bible?

I got this bible in January of 2019 and used it daily for two years. I filled nearly every page.

Describe the size of the Bible? Is it too big to carry to church/Bible studies?

This Bible is easy to travel with. Although it is on the thicker side, this Bible easily fits into my bags for church and Bible studies. I actually taught my first bible study with this Bible!

Why do you like it? What are some of the best features the Bible offers, in your opinion?

This Bible is for those who are notetakers and love Bible journaling. Each page has a set of margins on the side for notetaking, as well as spaces to color. I used it for my daily devotions and took it with me to church to write my church notes in it. I like Bibles that offer margins because I don't like having to take a Bible AND a notebook with me to church.

I like this Bible because the pages aren't too thin. Lots of Bibles that are classified as "Journaling" or "Note Taking" have really thin pages which I don't like because you can see the ink shadow on the other side of the page. I also like the size of the word print.

Where did you buy the Bible?

I bought this Bible at Lifeway Christian Store when it was still open. However, this Bible is available on Christian Book Distributors and Amazon.

The Illustrating Bible by Day Spring

What translation is it?

Christian Standard Bible

How long have you used this Bible?

About seven months

Describe the size of the Bible? Is it too big to carry to church/Bible studies?

It is a large spiral bound square Bible. It is heavy, and I would recommend not carrying it to church on a regular basis because of how big it is. I would carry it to a Bible study, though, so you could journal and take notes in it.

How do you use it?

There are large margins that work great for taking notes, using the SOAP* method of study, etc. I use it as my daily reading Bible and journal in it and take notes in it.

Why do you like it? What are some of the best features the Bible offers, in your opinion?

I’ve never had a Bible that offers so much writing/note taking space, and I love that. It is very simple and clean looking. It is also spiral bound so it is very conducive to journaling and writing in it. I love that it can sit in your lap easily because of the spiral binding. It does not have any additional features like maps or context. It really is purely for scripture reading and note taking.
